Woodbourne Center

Woodbourne Center is located in the heart of Baltimore city, and has been serving orphaned children as early as 1798. In 1970, Woodbourne was licensed as a residential treatment center by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Today, the newly refreshed campus features paintings designed by Mural Masters, Inc., of Baltimore, and houses a psychiatric residential treatment program for boys, ages 12-18; a community treatment foster care program; and the Woodbourne School.

Charm City Charities aims to create a safe haven where youth are nurtured, valued, inspired and empowered.

Chesapeake Region Accessible.(CRAB) started in 1991 as a non-profit providing the thrill, freedom, and therapeutic value of sailing to those with disabilities, recovering warriors, and youth from at0risk communities. Today, CRAB provides sailing experiences and instruction to nearly 1,000 guests every year from its base of operations at Sandy Point State Park. Thanks to the numerous CRAB volunteer Skippers, Crew and Support Staff sailing programs are held every week from April through October and include SailFree Sundays, Group Sails, Sailing Camps, and Clinics, and Regattas.

NEXUS - Youth and Family Solutions

The mission of Nexus Youth and Family solutions is to provide value based treatment serving youth, families and the community. At the Woodbourne Center site in Maryland, Nexus offers a variety of services, including community based family services, psychiatric residential treatment programs, foster care/adoption programs, and education programs. 

The Children’s Guild is a nonprofit, child-serving organization dedicated to serving children and adolescents with trauma disorders, who have been traumatized by life experiences or who have autism spectrum disorder and/or multiple disabilities in Maryland and Washington D.C. Founded in 1953, The Children’s Guild has become one of the largest providers of special education, group living, treatment foster care and family mental health services in Maryland.
